We are excited to share that we are in the process of starting a Catholic in Recovery meeting at Ss. Simon & Jude Cathedral! Catholic in Recovery is a community of individuals and families seeking recovery from a variety of addictions, compulsions, and unhealthy attachments. For a child to receive their sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation they must be in 3rd grade or older. If your children are unbaptized and 7 years or older they will be prepared for all three sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation). We are very excited that you are looking to register your family for our Faith Formation Program. Please know that the program is a year of sacramental preparation. The Diocese of Phoenix prepares children for both Sacraments, First Holy Communion and Confirmation which take place at the same time.

High school teens are invited to participate in Youth Group. Our program is a Eucharist centered Catholic program for high school teens. By sharing the teachings of our Church and facilitating powerful encounters with Christ, we help the teens grow in knowledge of our faith while transforming their hearts to help them passionately live out the Gospel by serving and loving one another. Through fellowship and open and honest discussion, we grow closer to one another and Christ knowing that we walk this journey together. The Youth Group is just for you! It is a place for you to come together in a loving and caring atmosphere and share your life experiences and faith with your peers. All High School Teens are invited to participate in all events, such as retreats, missions and other activities.
